About Us
A Homely Nursing Home in Worthing
Ashdown Nursing Home is a small, homely nursing home situated in a very pleasant residential location in Worthing, just 2 minutes from the Sea Front in West Sussex. Established in 1989, we have been providing quality care for over 35 years.
The Home aims to provide person-centred general nursing care and specialist EMI nursing care to a standard of excellence, which embraces fundamental principles of good care practices that embodies choice, respect and dignity.
Our CQC registration allows us to accommodate up to 40 people, across 22 single bedrooms and 9 double/twin rooms, including 12 en-suite rooms, all recently refurbished. We encourage our residents to personalise their rooms with personal belongings and small pieces of furniture.
Wholly owned by Archmore Care Services Ltd. Registered Managers: Mr Eminas Gasymovas and Mrs Manisha Khadka. Mrs Julie Ann Archer-Moran is the responsible individual overseeing all regulated services, including accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, and treatment of disease, disorder or injury.

Specialist EMI nursing care for residents with mild to moderate Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, delivered in a safe, supportive environment.
Respite Care
Short-term care giving family caregivers a well-deserved break while ensuring your loved one receives the same quality of care as permanent residents.
Mental Health Support
Dedicated care for residents with mental health conditions, providing companionship, personal care, and a structured, calming environment.
Nutritional Care
Freshly prepared, balanced meals by our professional cook, catered to individual dietary needs with choice-based menus and preferences.
Activities & Social Programme
A dedicated activity coordinator hosts regular events including parties, barbecues and garden parties, open to relatives, friends and the local community.
